Blender Sound Enclosure Box Material Facts

The Blender Sound Enclosure Box has been designed by 123Vita, LLC to fit the dimensions and designs of Vitamix Blenders and Blendtec Blenders. Especially will the sound enclosure box fit the Vitamix 5200 Total Nutrition Center and 2 hp and 3 hp Blenders from Vita Mix that have the same dimensions as the Vita Mix 5200 Blender. In particular, these blenders are Vitamix Vita Prep 3, Vita Mix Vita Prep 2, Vita Mix 4500 Turbo Blenders, and the Vita Mix 5200 Blender, or Total Nutrition Center.

Additionally, we also designed a blender sound enclosure box and/or its parts kit respectively that will fit the Blendtec 3 hp commercial and residential series of blenders, aka. Blendtec HP3A Blender, Blendtec Total Blender, and Blendtec EZ Blender.

Acrylic Material

The Blender Sound Enclosure Box material is made from 3/16 " thick FDA-rated/compliant Cell-Cast-Acrylic. This acrylic is easy to clean and to maintain. The material weight for the sound enclosure box designed for the Blendtec Blenders is 6 lbs and designed for the Vita Mix 5200 2 hp Blender style is 7 lbs. The sound reduction comes in the greater part from the acrylic material. But using a 1/4" thickness does actually not increase the sound/noise tamper level. It only increases the cost and weight dramatically. A heavier box is more difficult to handle and can break easier, and also costs more in shipping. And one of our biggest mission is to help you save money while being able to eat more raw-blended soup.

Bonding Solvent or Adhesive

The solvent is called 3(TM), manufactured by IPS Corporation. When choosing to purchase a Blender Sound Enclosure Parts Kit for a home-self assembly, we supply 1/2 fl oz approximately, filled for your convenience in an applicator bottle. Please note, the Bonding Solvent or Adhesive is not flammable. It will evaporate very quickly. You should wear latex gloves and goggles to protect yourself. I would also recommend that you wear some kind of a work clothes or an apron to protect your good closes. It won't ruin it necessarily, but its better to be careful. Acrylic 3 3™:  Water thin, non-flammable, very fast-setting solvent cement for bonding acrylic. It will also bond with other thermoplastics such as polystyrene, CAB (cellulose acetate butyrate), PETG (polyethylene terephthalate glycol) and polycarbonate to themselves. It will not bond to cross linked acrylics.
